  • 2 tsp palm sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt, to taste

Peanut Sauce Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the coconut milk over medium heat until it comes to a simmer.
  2. Add the garlic, shallots, tamarind paste, palm sugar, coriander, cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt to the pan and stir to combine.
  3. Add the ground peanuts to the pan and stir until the sauce is smooth and well combined.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before serving with the sate ayam.
