  • 2 red chili peppers, sliced

  • 2 green chili peppers, sliced

For the Side Dishes:

  • 1 cucumber, sliced

  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • 1 bunch of water spinach (kangkung), blanched

  • 1 cup sambal (chili paste)

  • 1 cup kerupuk (crackers)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the rice in water and drain. In a pot, combine the rice, coconut milk, water, salt, and pandan leaves. Stir well and bring to a boil over high heat.

  2. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for about 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and fluffy.

  3. While the rice is cooking, prepare the meat dishes. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
