Instructions:
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together the mochiko and sugar.
2. Gradually add the water to the mochiko mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon or spatula until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 1 minute.
4. Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir the mixture with a wooden spoon or spatula.

13. Pinch the edges of the mochi pieces together to seal the filling inside.
14. Dust the mochi pieces with more potato starch or cornstarch to prevent sticking.
15. Serve the mochi immediately or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

- Add 1 tablespoon of matcha powder to the mochiko mixture before adding water.
